Refund policy

RETURN & REFUND POLICY – GlowPage

Thank you for shopping with GlowPage. We want you to love your purchase, but if something isn’t right, this policy explains your rights and our procedures in accordance with South African consumer law.


1. Your Rights Under South African Law

In terms of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you are entitled to receive goods that are:

  • Of good quality

  • In working condition

  • Free of defects

  • Durable for a reasonable period

If your product does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.


2. 7-Day Cooling-Off Period (Online Orders)

As this is an online purchase, you have the right to return your item within 7 days of delivery for a refund, provided that:

  • The product is unused and in its original condition

  • All packaging, accessories, and manuals are included

  • The item is not damaged by misuse

Return shipping costs during this period are the responsibility of the customer.


3. Defective or Faulty Products (6-Month Warranty)

If your GlowPage LED Book Light™ Pro is defective within 6 months of purchase, you may request:

  • A repair

  • A replacement

  • Or a refund

We may inspect the item to confirm the defect before processing your request.

This does not apply if:

  • The product was misused, dropped, or damaged by the customer

  • The product was altered or used incorrectly


4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we may refuse returns if:

  • The product has been used extensively

  • The item is returned in a damaged or unsellable condition

  • Original packaging is missing or severely damaged


5. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or our error


6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

7. Return Procedure

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at glowpagesa@gmail.com with your order number

  2. Wait for return approval and instructions

  3. Ship the item back using a trackable method

We are not responsible for lost return parcels.


8. Important Notes

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above conditions

  • Abuse of the return policy may result in refusal of future orders

  • This policy does not limit any rights you have under South African law
